Ty and Meredith Rost – Owners

Ty Rost, Head Coach: Certified CrossFit Trainer (CrossFit Level 3), CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weighlifting, USAW Sports Performance Coach.

Ty was introduced to CrossFit as an off-season training opportunity for his triathlon, bicycle, and obstacle course racing. He was immediately drawn to the camaraderie, variety, and intensity of the workouts which improved his finish results the following season from a top 15% athlete to a top 2% athlete. "I was amazed how my weaknesses were holding me back from improving my strengths." As a coach, Ty strives for his athletes to become healthier and fitter by providing a enjoyable, safe and effective training environment with Gamma's unique programming. Ty's goal is "to take any person, of any ability, and increase their quality of life through comprehensive, supportive and fun programming and coaching". Ty believes that it "doesn't matter what your goals are, there is a place for everyone". Ty began coaching at the age of 16, spending his summers at the Little League World Headquarters in Williamsport, PA.  In high school and college, Ty was nationally ranked downhill skier and was the team captain at a Penn State University. He went on to coach skiers and train athletes in weightlifting, agility, mobility, stamina and endurance.

Ty enjoys spending time with Meredith and their three daughters. Outside of his busy schedule, he enjoys brewing and tasting beer (but mostly just drinking it). In the past, he played baseball, football and attended the world renowned Burke Mountain Ski academy in Vermont. In 2014, Ty was ranked in the top 2% worldwide in the Reebok Spartan Race World Championships in Killington, VT.  Ty is a twice crowned Lurong Living National Champion, Lurong Living sponsored athlete, and 2017 CrossFit Games masters qualifier athlete.

Courtney Donmoyer - Coach and Personal Trainer

CrossFit Level 1, USAW Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting, CrossFit Rowing, CrossFit Mobility, CrossFit Kettlebell, NASM cPT, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, 2014 CrossFit Games Individual Regional Competitor, 2017 CrossFit Games Regional Teams Competitor

Courtney enjoys long handstand walks along the beach and spends most of her time in her Metcons. But she didn’t always. She hated CrossFit when she first started it and even quit a few times to go back to running; half marathons were her jam. But eventually, she drank the Kool-Aid full tilt and embraced the barbell. Best thing she’s ever done! She’s been coaching CrossFit since 2012 in a variety of settings; from the Middle East training deployed servicemen to Connecticut coaching high school Lacrosse players. She currently works as a nutrition coach via her website and blog, www.petiteathleat.com. She is married to Travis (bio below) and when the two of them aren’t in the gym, you can find them renovating their 100 year old farm house with their dogs, Dallas and Elliott.

Travis Donmoyer - Coach and Personal Trainer

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Level 2, Attitude Nation Weightlifting, CrossFit Weightlifting, CrossFit Rowing, USAW Level 1 Sports Performance, 2017 CrossFit Games Regional Teams Competitor

Travis was introduced to CrossFit by a fellow service member in 2009 while serving in Iraq with the US ARMY. He was tricked into attending a CrossFit class by being told they were going polar bear hunting in the desert. He has been coaching CrossFit for several years, both locally and abroad, since receiving his Level 1 Certification in 2012. Prior to this, he had years of experience in other areas of sports and fitness such as football, baseball, collegiate style wrestling, Brazilian jujitsu, and Modern ARMY Combatives. Travis claims to have beaten Chuck Norris in a thumb wrestling match but Chuck says Travis went on '4' instead of after 'I declare a thumb war'.

Aside from working out he is an avid outdoorsman, and the doggy daddy to an extra large German shepherd named Dallas. Yes, he is also a Dallas Cowboys fan but we don't hold that against him (actually we do, but Travis is really sensitive about Tony Romo jokes so we stopped telling them) . Travis is currently a Soldier in the ARMY Reserves, and has served overseas on 4 deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. While in Kuwait, Travis and several other servicemen and women volunteered their time to set up a facility for CrossFit Arifjan, and coached several hundred military and civilian athletes. He was also lucky enough to meet his fiancée, Courtney, while serving in Kuwait. During his 9 months there, he gained a wealth of coaching experience while working alongside an ever changing population of Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and civilian contractors. He is also an great carpenter and can whittle a 2x4 into a barbell in 36 seconds.

Chris Hiester- Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting

Chris likes long walks on the beach in his socks and WODing with his shirt off. He also likes the taste of sunblock. His fiancée, Meg, trys to keep him out of trouble but she is learning that you can take Chris away from the gansta life but you can't take the gansta outta Chris, yo.

 Tom Lebanc - Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting

Loves Oreos...REALLY loves Oreos. Seriously, he likes them A LOT. We've tried to help him, but decided for our safety just to let him have them.

Ryan Wanner - Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting

When Ryan grows up he wants to be taller, and a baller. He also drives a '64 Impala. He is also fortunate enough to have had 16 minutes of fame. Ryan is an incredible mobility coach and helps all our athletes become more swole and flexy.

Jared Meyers - Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting

Outside of the gym, Jared enjoys wrestling polar bears and making California rolls out of Playdoh and bird seed. He also likes rating cold beverages for their ability to give the best brain freeze.

 Favorite Food: Toast

Emma Larson - Coach

CrossFit Level 1

Emma's IQ is higher than the rest of the coaches' IQs combined together, but she doesn't understand Chuck Norris or knock-knock jokes. She also loves curling up with a good Dr. Seuss novel.

"I've heard there are troubles of more than one kind; some come from ahead, and some come from behind. But I've brought a big bat. I'm all ready, you see; Now my troubles are going to have trouble with me!"

Katie Bixler - Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Weightlifting

Besides being an incredible coach and fitness advocate, Katie is the president of the American Nunchuck Association. She uses her nunchucks whenever possible, especially when walking through carwashes and on rollercoasters.

Katie was also a finalist to play the stunt double for Captain America in the Winter Soldier, but refused to remove her tutu or drop her nunchucks, so they dropped her from the final production.

Sherelyn Goddin - Coach

CrossFit Level 1

You may recognize Sherelyn's voice from popular shows like Puppys Gone Wild, Puppys Are Us, You Like Puppys and I Like Puppys, and Why Can't Everything Be Made Out of Puppies. She was also the voice over for the puppy 'RoseBud' in Air Buddies.

When Sherelyn is not doing voice overs for puppies, she can be found increasing her deadlift and refining her strongman skillz at Gamma. She also is unbeaten in the 400 meter sled push thanks to her glutes of steel and aerodynamic hats.
