Congratulations on all of your PRs!
Congratulations to all of our athletes on their many, many
PR’s last week! We tested our one rep maxes for push press, deadlift, strict
press, back squat and hang cleans. It was absolutely awesome seeing you guys
celebrate your accomplishments! Hard work pays off and you are proof! If you
missed one or more days but would still like to make it up, please talk with a
coach this week so we can get something scheduled for you.
We ended the week with a special Hero WOD on Saturday to honor fallen soldiers Ruffner and Yoder who passed away one year ago this past week. It was a tough WOD, especially with the 101 burpee cash out, but you guys worked hard and accomplished a lot. The encouragement from and for one another was wonderful to witness!
This week we will have a built in ‘deload’ week. No heavy
lifting. I know, not normal for us! However, again, it is all part of the plan!
Trust your coaches! Instead, we will use typical strength time to work on some
skills/technique. And amp up the conditioning a bit! ;)
