Gamma 35 Day Challenge!
Everyone has weaknesses as an athlete (and as humans, but that is a post for another website:) and facing your weaknesses is difficult. Admitting you have weaknesses as an athlete might be as difficult as addressing the weakness itself. It also presents a challenge to program workouts for over 100 people on a daily basis. How does one program in order to address the various weaknesses present in all our athletes? Frankly, you can't. Tackling weaknesses requires specific programming for the individual. This isn't something that can be accomplished in a group class setting....or is it?
The Gamma 35 Day Challenge was developed to allow our members to tackle their individual weakness. We created a program that challenged our athletes in a movement that they want to improve on. The movement was customized to the individual and they were advised on a daily basis what 'rep schemes' they needed to perform. They did these rep schemes over 35 days and accumulated points.
The results were amazing! Some people were finally able to do a pullup, push ups, or even hand stand push ups! Others were able to increase the volume of push ups and pull ups. Congratulations to Lina Jamis and Paula Leblanc for having the highest scores in the challenge!
