At CrossFit Gamma we offer a variety of classes for those just starting their fitness journey to those that are ready to take their fitness to the next level.
CrossFit is the broadest class we offer. CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements, done at high intensity. All portions are scaled and modified to each athlete’s level and performed at the highest intensity that the individual can sustain with good form and proper technique. We start our workout-of-the-day with a warm-up, stretching, and strength/skill work immediately followed by the day’s pre-programed workout. Movements range from running to rowing, body weight to barbells, and strongman to gymnastics. You can expect the unexpected. Workouts are announced and tracked via our smartphone app and allow our athletes to view their progress throughout their fitness journey.
Gamma High Intensity Internal Training (G-HIIT) is a 30-40 minute small group high intensity interval training class focused on improving cardio vascular fitness, increasing speed, and maximizing calorie burn. From the time the class starts to the very end, athletes are constantly moving. Movements are focused on quick, non-technical, repeatable actions consisting of body weight, light weight loads, and gymnastics.
Barbell Club is a small group class focused on the technical aspects of the 'Olympic lifts'. Our trained, experienced staff takes athletes through stretches, warm-ups, and drills specifically designed to help improve the snatch and clean/jerk. Special attention is given to spot faults and improve form through 1 on 1 coaching video analysis, and custom drill work.
Open Gym is time with the gym is open to all members to make up missed workouts, improve on a skill, design their own workouts, or perform extra work.
Mobility is a group setting focused on stretching and recovery. These sessions typically take place after class when athletes muscles are supple and primed for cooling down and stretching. Session range from 10 to 40 minutes and are sometimes instructor lead or presented via ROMWOD.
Personal Training is a 1 on 1 session between coach and athlete. It is designed for beginners with little knowledge of workout form and function, athletes training for a specific sport or event, or anyone that prefers to workout in a more personal setting.
